Program 2022

This was the educational programme at Climate Camp 2022. We mainly worked on four main topics related to Leipzig Halle Airport (LEJ) through theoretical and practical workshops, panels:

  • Local impacts: Aircraft noise and displacement of residents.
  • Migration: LEJ airport, a place for brutal deportations from Germany
  • Global markets: air traffic exacerbates climate change, criticism of markets and profit interests
  • Military hub: military logistics and arms exports all over the world

    • Of course, there were also a number of cultural events.
